The Red Snapper (M) Sdn Bhd (TRS) focuses on wireless mobility over WiFi and WiMAX. Our commitment is to promote IEE 802.16e deployments in Malaysia and integrate such networks with WiFi and cellular footprints through IEE 802.21 type patches and commercial interconnects.

TRS deploys large scale wireless networks and had built wireless broadband infrastructure across Perak and Malacca under mandate from the two states. Jaring is the TRS in-country network partner for these State funded initiatives.


TRS has an operational joint venture in India with You Telecom, one of India’s two largest independent ISPs and fastest growing cable TV operator. The joint venture deploys wireless broadband footprints off You Telecom’s extensive fiber infrastructure in over ten Indian cities including the major metros.


TRS radio engineers work in Malaysia and India bringing together the most suitable front-end equipment with the best available back-end Internet infrastructure to create multi-purpose wireless footprints in a working model easily emulated in other Asian countries.
